About Dusty:

Hi there! My name is Dusty Mencl, and I’m a licensed mental health therapist in Nebraska. Seeking therapy can be the first step to achieving a healthier and more enjoyable life. I’m so glad you’re considering me as a therapist to aid you in your journey.

Therapy can offer insight into who you are, where you’ve come from, who you’d like to be, and where you’d like to go. As a therapist, I believe that each person deserves to feel in control of their lives. When a person feels in control, they can begin to see positive possibilities that they didn’t consider before.  In my role as a therapist, I will work to create a warm and inviting environment in which all thoughts, feelings, and possibilities are accepted. Therapy is often hard yet rewarding work, and my goal for each client is that their therapy experience leaves them with a renewed sense of self control and direction.

I have experience working in various placements, including college counseling centers, rural communities, and private practice.

Specialities Include:

  • Women's issues

  • Anxiety,

  • Depression,

  • Relationship issues,

About Brook:

Hello! I’m Brook Vasquez, and I am a licensed mental health provider in Nebraska. I’ve heard finding the right therapist is similar to finding the right pair of shoes—so let me describe how I might fit if I have the privilege of joining you on your journey toward awareness, growth, and hope.

I fully understand what it feels like to have all the feelings but no idea what to do with them. I also know what it’s like to “know” what to do and feel unable to make positive changes. Because of this, I firmly believe you are the expert on your own life and my role as the therapist is to support, encourage, and offer a fresh perspective on areas of struggle. Through our collaborative work, my goal is to offer guidance as you learn to embrace what it means for you to experience a fulfilling, authentic life.

My professional experience varies from rural areas and School Community Intervention Programs (SCIP), to nonprofit agencies and private practice. I also enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan. I am trained and working toward certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Specialities Include:

  • Child and Teen Counseling,

  • Anxiety,

  • Depression

  • Relationship Issues,

  • Trauma,
